About Reiki Energy Healing
Reiki is based on the premise that life force energy (also called chi, or prana) flows through us and is what enables us to be alive. When one’s life force energy is low, as a result of stress and negative emotions, it causes blockages in the energy field, and energy is not able to flow smoothly through the body. This causes stress, and weakens our immune system. If this continues for prolonged periods of time, it can ultimately manifest as illness or disease. When the life force energy is flowing easily and freely throughout the body, it manifests as vibrant health, and well-being, mentally, physically and spiritually.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words – Rei which means “God’s Wisdom or the Higher Power” and Ki which is “life force energy”. Therefore, Reiki is actually spiritually guided “life force energy.”

A Reiki treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Many have reported miraculous results.

Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.
While Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion. It has no dogma, and there is nothing you must believe in order to receive or benefit from Reiki. In fact, Reiki is not dependent on belief at all and will work whether you believe in it or not. Because Reiki comes from Source, many people find that receiving Reiki makes them feel more connected with their highest self, with others, and the Universe.

An important aspect of healing the body/mind/spirit is to consciously decide to improve oneself, and this is a necessary part of the Reiki healing experience. In order for the Reiki healing energies to have lasting results, the client must accept responsibility for her or his healing and take an active part in it.

Reiki practitioners are taught to practice with the highest level of ethics, to promote peace, harmony, and healing.

For appointments cancelled 24 hours or more in advance, you may choose a credit for rescheduling your session or a refund. Should you fail to cancel within 24 hours in advance of your appointment you will be charged the full amount.
